We’ve recently posted quite a bit about our recent trip to Thailand, and as part of our constant ambition to find another excuse to travel, we’ve been doing some searching around on Google Flights, and came across some good deals, which we thought we’d share. The deals highlighted are around €1200, and depart from cities in Europe.
If you decide to go to Thailand from Rome and have time enough to spare we base this trip around 13 days, but you can find the same fare staying more or less days traveling with Kuwait Airways for 1,298€ in business class. We have never tried Kuwait Airways but we have found some reviews and would be interested to try. Sadly, Kuwait Airways is not part of an alliance, but if you have travelled with them or decide to do so, please let us know how it is! 🙂
The availability varies between January (a good time to travel to the region due the drier climate) up until October 2018. The flights are operated by A330 and Boeing 777 aircrafts.
If you are able to depart from Budapest, EgyptAir is your option. The airline is based at Cairo and is a member of Star Alliance, so you can fly and earn miles in all the member airlines of the alliance. As with Kuwait Airways, we are yet to try them out, but if you have or will do, let us know your experiences. Availability varies between March 2018 and October 2018 and you can travel for 1,236€ return in business class.
Stockholm can also be an option, and you can travel with Finnair between mid January and June 2018. The airline is part of the Oneworld alliance and you can connect in Helsinki and fly direct to Thailand for 1,297€ in business class. We were really wanting to fly with Finnair when we last went to Thailand, but in the end opted to fly with Qatar Airways. If you’re interested in our experience, feel free to check out our economy and business class reviews.
We’ll keep working to find good deals – as always with the mission of finding another excuse to travel!
