We visited the Malta Business Class Lounge in October 2020. We were flying with Ryanair but got free access with our Lounge Club cards, provided by AMEX Gold. Since this video, AmEx has moved to providing a Priority Pass to AmEx Gold Credit Cardholders in Spain instead. But it works the same.If you're in the UK, the AmEx Gold Card provides similar benefits. Basically, you can get 2 free lounge visits per year.In this Malta lounge review, we look at the La Valette Club. With Runway views and an open outdoor terrace, it seemed like a good place to wave goodbye to Malta.The lounge was not busy during our visit. Various seating sections have been cordoned off, but in normal times the lounge is spacious enough that I can’t envisage it ever feeling particularly crowded.The food was good for a non-airline lounge in Europe. There were a couple of hot options which included pastizzi, sandwiches, a hot rice dish, cakes and crisps. The quality of all the food was good. There was a slight wait for any hot options, but this wasn’t a problem at all. The drinks on the other hand, weren't so good. In this video we're exploring the oneworld lounges in Hong Kong Airport. This included a rather weird 15 minutes or so when the fire alarm went off in the airport. There are various oneworld lounge options in Hong Kong and here we review them. These include:- Cathay Pacific The Wing Lounge - Cathay Pacific The Pier Lounge - Qantas International LoungeIf you're travelling through Hong Kong on a oneworld airline, it's one of the best airports to be in. We travelled with Malaysia Airlines in economy. We also show some of the Oneworld lounges available in both Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. In 2017 we headed to Thailand and went on a couple of boat trips. We travelled from Krabi to Phi Phi to Maya Bay, Thailand.Although we were visiting Thailand in rainy season, and the weather was a little variable, we still had fun.Maya Bay is famous as the filming location for 'The Beach'. In 2018, a year after our visit, Maya Bay was closed due to the environmental impact of tourism. As a result, we were among the last tourists to visit.In this travel vlog we also show our trip to Hong Island Krabi. It's a charming island which can easily be reached by boat. Back in 2018, we headed to Bali to celebrate our Honeymoon. We decided to stay at the Novotel Bali Benoa Hotel. Benoa is a peaceful place to stay. Although the beach isn't the best you'll find in Bali, it definitely offers a more relaxed vibe than the Legian / Kuta area.As the stay was for our honeymoon and we had Accor Platinum status, we were upgraded to a suite for our stay. The hotel calls this the ‘Tropical Terrace’. The room was perfect. It was large and well maintained, with a particularly impressive bathroom. It was also nice that the hotel went to a special effort to provide some special treatment. Welcome gifts included a cake and fruit, along with a keepsake of some incense sticks, along with a holder. This was an appreciated and nice touch.The hotel benefits from three pools, one of which is by a private beach area. Our latest flight report shows our experience travelling on the Qatar Airways Airbus A380 in Business Class from Doha to Bangkok.Qatar's A380 offers a unique experience. Although it doesn't feature the Qsuite product, it does have an onboard bar, which we found to be a fun place to chillout.We'd previously tried out the A380 in economy and so we were excited to see how business would compare.
